I know today is supposed to be the day of being sad that our Lord was killed, but I really haven’t been focused on the season this year. I’ll mostly be glad for Sunday to come so I can eat some sweets(which I gave up for Lent).
We are spending today traveling down to Narrows, VA to visit Alicia’s family for the weekend. We’ll be back on Sunday. Have a great Resurrection weekend!
Update: We made it down here safe and sound. The drive was nice and Alicia and I got to have some good talk time. We enjoyed a nice evening hanging out with Alicia’s family tonight.
Update 2: We made it home safely. It was a nice, if uneventful, visit with Alicia’s family. We did the Easter Sunday thing at First Baptist of Narrows which probably deserves a post all of it’s own.
