Wednesday(well, we came down Tuesday night) my boss Jeff and I were in Richmond for the Virginia Applied Users Group meeting to try to drum up some business for Kite Tech’s Richmond office. We got a very nice reception from people, but there didn’t seem to be a lot of interest in using our services. Hmmm… wonder what that means.
Wednesday Alicia drove down to meet me so we could go visit her family for the rest of the week. Poor Alicia, she drove down in tons of traffic because of accidents and construction, in 103 degree heat, and the air conditioning in the Explorer is not working. We hung out at the mall for a number of hours before heading on the road.
Now we are down in Narrows, VA visiting Alicia’s family. It’s pretty boring here. We have watched a number of movies, including The One and Constantine. I’ve seen The One before and I really like it, but Constantine was a new one for me. It was pretty cool and made you think. If I am really bored later I’ll probably do a review of it on here. The other thing we have done is hang out with the new nephew Landon. He was really fussy yesterday, it was very good birth control. Alright, time to stop being anti-social.

Dan-have you tried re-charging the air-conditioning? In Explorers, you need to re-charge it… that’s what happened in Jason’s. We thought it was broke, until someone told us that is what you have to do. It’s real easy to do yourself. You can buy the kit at Walmart for like 10 bucks.
you should als oknow that, when a guy refers to an infant as “birth control,” every woman within earshot cringes - even the ones who aren’t ready for babies themselves.
It was Alicia who said it was great birth control first… I just agreed. I’m safe.
And Sheryl, thanks for the advice, we’ll give it a try.
Dan:
We have two children and I can understand the “birth control” statement. I think every high schooler should have to spend a few days/nights with a family that has infants/toddlers. It’ll make them think twice! Children as great, and I’m glad I waited until I was ready for them. You’ll know when that time is!
