I know that those who know me best are going to be the most surprised about this one. I switched from Linux to Windows on my laptop. Yep, my geek cred just went way down. I had been Linux-only for 7 years but I just got tired of all the little things not working right.

Make the true switch to a Mac. Then everything really will work magically ; )
I like Macs… had one for a job for a little while and it was nice. We are looking to get Alicia a laptop sometime in the not too distant future and are considering a Mac for her. My problem with them is that they are so expensive, and the software is too. Maybe when we aren’t poor anymore that factor will go away and I’ll switch.

Mac Cult is right! unless you have the money to spend on lack of features and useless widgets i wouldn’t recommend them. i wouldn’t really recommend BSOD windows either and linux is hard for most people to use.. so my recommendations.. Get a solar powered calculator; fully functional, lasts forever and is inexpensive.
