Daniel’s Pilgrimage

I’ve made some wholesale changes to Planet Emergent today. The biggest change is the new name and domain. It is now Emerging Church Blogs instead of Planet Emergent. I think this is more accurate to what it actually is and hopefully can avoid some of the confusion about the Emergent = the emerging church misconception. I also updated to the latest Planet software(which should fix some issues) and changed the template. I put redirectors in place so no one should have things stop working. If you love the changes, let me know. If you hate them, get over it.

For the couple beerble guys who care:

Haberdashery

1. A haberdasher’s shop.
2. The goods and wares sold by a haberdasher.

Haberdasher:

1. A dealer in men’s furnishings.
2. Chiefly British. A dealer in sewing notions and small wares.

Well, we have internet back. Yay! Comcast came out this morning and fixed it. I didn’t miss it that much because I have been working. I’ve logged some hours with Wilson, Timmons and Wallerstein Insurance last night and this morning. Billable hours are always nice. Tonight we went to a potluck at Ross and Valeree’s place and then us guys split for Beerble. Thanks for having us at potluck guys! Beerble was, like always, a good time. I look forward to it. Next week I’ll be in MD for work… and that’s the way the cookie crumbles…

So a big delivery truck came down the street today and knocked down our cable wire coming across the street. So, until Comcast gets out and fixes it we are without internet at home. They said they will get there today or first thing tomorrow. Hopefully they will make it a little higher when they are out there as well. Until it’s fixed I’ll be at Jumpin’ J’s and C3 a lot.

We had a blast last night with Eric, Pam, Vince and Angel Murphy. We all laughed a ton as we spent time getting to know each other. I look forward to brainstorming with them about how to live in the Reign of God in this area. Thanks guys!
