Reading Gandhi’s autobiography 3

Posted by Daniel on February 25, 2006

I’m currently reading Gandhi an autobiography, The story of my experiments with truth. I’m only about 1/5 of the way through so far but it’s been very good. It’s neat to see his experience in another culture so foreign to my own and see that he dealt with all the same stuff I currently deal with. He’s real honest about struggles and does not seem to hold back. I’m looking forward to finishing it to see all the experiences that molded such a great man.

So my good friend and co-worker Brad Luers(B~rad in the comments here) just found his long lost twin. Tell me him and the new Verizon Wireless guy weren’t seperated at birth:

So I was surfing today and decided to google for Daniel Farrell. Last time I checked I was like #5 or so… well guess what? I’m #1!!! Go me! Not only that, I’m #1(this blog), #4(danielfarrell.com), #8(my 43 things page) and #12(my blogger.com profile). I still don’t show up anywhere when you google just for Daniel though, so that should keep me a little humble for a while.

So you know how some companies you gives lots of money to try to send you thank you gifts every so often? And most are lame, right? Not Citibank! They hooked me up with the coolest corporate gift I’ve ever gotten, magnet art! I just upload a couple of pictures of it to my flickr account(sorry, they are a little blurry). Thanks Citibank!

My parents came down Friday and hung out for a day before heading to Williamsburg for a romantic getaway. It was fun hanging out with them. Friday we went out to eat at Ipanema and then stayed up playing Loaded Questions. It was a lot of fun. Saturday morning we went to Jumpin J’s for breakfast and then they went on their way. Thanks for stopping by guys, it was fun!
