I have a few videos on YouTube. They are nothing amazing or anything. But this one in by far the most popular, having been viewed over 2900 3200 times. It’s cute, but I have no idea why that many people would be watching it. Enjoy:

Crazy day 2
So here it is, before 6AM on a Sunday. I am up and about to get ready for a crazy day. I will be driving up to Maryland for a worship service at the request of a friend. I’ll stay for lunch and then drive back on down here. Alicia has to work today so she will stay in town. I apologize to my friends and family who are in Maryland who won’t see me, but don’t worry, we’ll be up there next weekend to celebrate my dad’s birthday and help Leslie move.
Update: Well, the news is public now so I can say why I went up there. Dave Cowan and family will be leaving Horizon Towson to move to Phoenix, AR to start churches and for Dave to get his Ph.D. It’s a big step of faith, but they are sure God is leading them. In other news, the drive home took 6 hours because of some horrible construction on the DC beltway. Yuck!
Church as art collective 3
Andrew Perriman put up a great article on Open Source Theology about church as art collective. This is something that I had thought about not that long ago, taking inspiration from my friends at Patchwork Collective.
If/when we start a Jesus community in this area, it will take inspiration from this article. So give it a read if this kind of thing is up your alley.

Back from Kairos Gathering 3
I got home yesterday afternoon from the Kairos Gathering up in western Maryland. It was a really good time and I got to meet a lot of very neat people. I’ll post some thoughts on the things we discussed later.
I did bring home a souvenir with me… a rash/poison/”really itchy skin thing” with me. It started up there and I thought it was a bunch of mosquito bites, but now it’s spreading. It sucks pretty bad and I’m gonna have to cancel a work appointment I had this morning with a new client because of it. Oh well, such is life, at least I’m back home with my wonderful wife.
Update: My rash now looks like poison ivy… could have even gotten it from yardwork over the weekend before going away. I’ve never had poison ivy before. I thought I was immune. Guess not.
