Well, this is our first spring as homeowners, and my first chance to do spring yardwork on a home I own. While Alicia is busy painting every room in the house a different bold color I’ve been out in the yard. Today I pulled out the wood that borders our flower beds in front(it warped this winter and looked really bad) and replaced it with neat stone lining stuff we got at Loews(pictures will follow). I also cut up a lot of the vines growing up one of our trees. Tomorrow I’m mowing the lawn for the first time this year, putting down a turf builder, digging up a tire in the yard, etc, etc, etc. This is all good stuff, but it’s a lot of work. The thought that maybe our first purchase should have been a condo crossed my mind a couple of times today. Oh well, at least I’ve been working out lately so I won’t be too sore after this is done.
