No car -- only a big heavy black Dutch bike with with no gears. It was wonderful -- my bike was always anxious to take me to new and wonderful places -- and it is still there in the safe keeping of a friend awaiting my eventual return. In The Netherlands, there is a bike path everywhere there is a highway.
