Veggie Fest 2006 is today at Bryan Park from noon to 7PM. I’m very much looking forward to it. I hear the food is great and I’m interested in connecting with the Richmond vegetarian scene.

So, how was it? Any raw food stuff?
It was pretty cool. Lot’s of food vendors(mostly local ethnic resturants) selling yummy goodness. There were also booths for some cool groups/businesses like Ellwood Thompson’s, the Vegetarian Society of Richmond and the Richmond Peace Education Center. I didn’t see a lot in the way of raw food, just a cookbook or two for sale and some raw granola.
Pricey raw granola.
