But when I remember, I post to it.
My parents were in town this weekend and we’ve had a lot of fun with them. Friday night we got Sticky Rice sushi and enjoyed a nice hangout time at home. Yesterday we got lunch at Ellwood Thompson’s, showed them the Willow Lawn Gold’s Gym, and went to the southside Pier 1 clearance store on the south side. We went to Cous Cous for a wonderful dinner last night. This morning we went over to Jumpin J’s for breakfast. I know it sounds like all we did was eat, but eating with good company is one of my favorite activities.
We just put together a new shelf(pictures to follow) that our friends Alisha and Casey picked up for us at Ikea and now we are going to watch a little of the Daytona 500. We might even hit the gym sometime today.

FYI, my semi-new-to-Richmond friends, it is all one word: southside. And I think that common usage is that it is a place, less than a direction (eg, “We went to the southside Arby’s because my friend Mike likes the larger women.”). Northside follows the same usage (”The northside New York Fried Chicken has better service than the one on Mechanicsville Turnpike.”).
Contrast this with the fact that you now live “in the East End”.
ok, back to my paper now…
Good to know, thanks.
I try to stay north of the river as much as I can, it seems like it’s a different city when you cross the river.
can we talk about new york fried chicken for a second? that place seems awesome.
