		<description>FYI, my semi-new-to-Richmond friends, it is all one word: southside. And I think that common usage is that it is a place, less than a direction (eg, "We went to the southside Arby's  because my friend Mike likes the larger women."). Northside follows the same usage ("The northside New York Fried Chicken has better service than the one on Mechanicsville Turnpike.").

Contrast this with the fact that you now live "in the East End".
