Alicia and I went to the Richmond Kickers game tonight. We beat the Cleveland City Stars 2-1 in the second round match of the US Open Cup. Why does this matter you ask? It matters because we get to host the Los Angeles Galaxy of the MLS in the next round! You know them, the team that recently signed David Beckham. Beckham should be with them by then as well. World class soccer in Richmond on July 10th! Be there!
I’ll be buying a bunch of tickets once they go on sale so if you want to go with the group I’m getting together for the game let me know.
In other soccer related news… if any Kickers fans are reading this I’m going to need a new friend to got to future games with… Alicia didn’t get into it.
Quick update: Tickets are on sale at the Kickers website. I got 12 of them. They are $15 each if you want to get one from me or from the website.

Just wanted to let you all know that according to the Kickers, David Beckham will not be at the Kickers vs. Galaxy game. Still come out and support the Kickers, but don’t get your hopes up to see Beckham because it’s not happening unfortunately.
Oh man, that soooo stinks. I just read confirmation on ESPN that Beckham won’t join the team until the 13th.
