I’ve been working on the website for a non-profit that some my friends are starting up in Maryland called FaithWorks Project. They are doing micro-finance loans through Kiva and then using the money for local community development work around Baltimore after the loans get paid back. Good stuff. They are having their first fundraiser on Thursday and wanted the new site up by then. Well, it’s up. It still needs two pages filled in and could probably use a little tweaking of some copy(not my deal) and maybe a little thing here or there, but I’m pretty happy with the design at this point. Anyways, I’m glad to have the site mostly done… time to move on to my next web project.

looks good.
so, what IS your next web project?
Neat, I hadn’t seen Kiva before.
Very nice design, Daniel. I enjoyed the inviting, pastel look. I came across Kiva though a friend of mine and am considering loaning any proceeds from my various projects to it. Seems like a very cool model to me.
re: next project… did you see the post on pburgpn.net about another fire this past weekend? The property is owned by a guy that owns 19 properties in town, another one of which suffered a fire early this year that killed 3 children (in the recent fire, no one is reported as injured, though 11 people were displaced). Maybe you could help us build a Vacant Petersburg? If interested, I can put you in touch with some folks that would be delighted to hear from a master web developer such as yourself.
Dan,
Thanks for all of your work on our site. It is awesome and we are blessed to have you as our web designer.
You are a great friend and I and all of the FaithWorks Project team appreciate the awesome new site you have created for us! It will be an unbelievable resource for us in our quest to help change the world!
