I had quite a day yesterday. I got up and went and volunteered at Embrace Richmond in the morning. I’m going to do a profile of them at some point so I won’t explain too much about it. But a group of us guys from The Well built shelves and did a few other things. Good manual labor that wore me out.

I came some from there and showered, tried to make myself look handsome, put on my suit(!) and went with my stunningly beautiful wife over to St. Patrick’s Church for our good friends Casey and Alisha’s wedding. The wedding was beautiful, the wedding music was great and the happy couple looked extremely happy as they coupled. The funny part for us spectators was that it was a catholic wedding and there are apparently certain things that happen that catholics know about. I’d say 95% of Casey’s side of the church was catholic and maybe 1% of Alisha’s side was. Whenever you were supposed to respond or do stuff only the right half of the church had a clue what to do. Those of us on the left just looked like lost puppies. Pretty entertaining. The reception was a blast as they have crazy friends and family and lots alcohol was consumed. Highlights include dancing to polka music(they are the Krukowskis from Pittsburgh after all), the 11 year old flower girl dancing with lots of sass and lots of general merriment.
As good friends we had a few tasks for the wedding. The first was Friday night when we did a bunch of stuff to make the rehearsal dinner go off well(and it did). Yesterday our tasks included getting certain things from the church to the reception, Alica was then the liaison from the DJ to the bridal party, and then we brought a ton of stuff back to their house after the wedding. We were thrilled to be able to do anything we could to make their day as special as possible. We love you Krukowskis! Thanks for letting us be a part of your wedding!
