There was a shooting up here on the hill tonight. It seems that the shooting took place about a block from our house and then the guy rode his bike over to our block and collapsed. The police showed up and quickly got him away in an ambulance. They then proceeded to block off a HUGE area and do a lot of talking. We got to talk to some neighbors, police officers and reporters. That is all I know and things seem to have calmed down some outside. Guess it’s time for bed.

That hasn’t happened in a while has it? Did you guys hear it when it happened or were you somewhere else?

Nah, hasn’t been a shooting in a while. We did hear some shots but weren’t entirely sure they were gunshots as we’ve had some fireworks being set off at night since the 4th of july. We never felt like we were in danger or anything.
I want to visit.
You should come visit sometime Tym! Just as a warning, our house isn’t kid-safe and we have 4 cats(yeah, I know, we’re a little nuts).
