Just an FYI to those who care. I’ll be filling in for the pastor of First Mennonite Church here in Richmond this Sunday. It’s been a while since I’ve gotten to talk at a traditional church service, should be a good experience. I’ll put up some sermon notes afterwards.

Ha, I know you would! That’s one of the reason’s I’m just putting this on the blog now when I’ve known about it for a couple weeks now.
No offense but I think this type of thing is easier without your parents sitting front and center, even if(maybe even because) they are your biggest fans. Hope you guys have are enjoying Nazareth.

It didn’t come out like that exactly, I ended up ad-libbing quite a bit, but those were my notes.
The notes are well done… wish we could have heard to whole message. Perhaps next time…
How was it received?
A few people asked a couple questions or said nice things to me afterwards but that is about all the feedback I got. That fell into my general “fine” category of it.
